“Super great place with or without kids”
We had the best time! A super great place to go with (or without) kids. AMPLE facilities, super lovely and clean and always enough! Super nice communal spots (with gas heaters) if it’s positively torrential and you’re looking for some solace! Pump track, multiple playgrounds (plus one at the lakeside), bush walks, bounce pillow, tramps, room to roam, bush walks for any level of fitness and mountain biking +++ (as well as boating if you’ve got one!) and swimming! Surrounded by bush, lots of opportunity to either enjoy your own company or socialise. We loved being down the back at a powered campsite, surrounded by bush, close to pump track and altogether blissful! Shop on site has all of the emergency grocery items… plus a few goodies 😉 and staff are brilliant, friendly and accommodating. Love all of the bike wash stations, racks and storage too for anyone traveling with a bike!

“There will be more visits”
We only stayed 2 nights but the place was fantastic. Lovely safe area for kids to play. So nice to see everyone out and about on bikes enjoying themselves. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant to deal with, even while they were under the pump with incoming check-ins. The only (minor) inconvenience was the WiFi not being completely reliable but the management were onto this and hopefully it’ll be rectified before our next visit – and there will be more visits. The facilities were top notch and the free access to a large BBQ and dining area is a master stroke. The well stocked ‘dairy’ and convenience store make it easy to get the small items like milk, ice creams, toothpaste etc without having to go back into town.

“Amazing service!!!”
5 stars, due to the lovely man at the front desk who went out of his way to help us with sorting the biking trails in the area. Amazing service!!! You can bike the main forest loop trail from camp, versus parking at the mountain bike park for reference. Plus, there is a nice little forest loop trail on the lake. Camped in a tent, lovely park grounds, clean bathrooms and showers. Kitchen is lovely and spacious. I’ll for sure camp here again as it’s so handy to town and biking.

“Serene, calm, and tranquil”
Stayed at a powered site with the fam over the Easter weekend and we loved it. Tent sites are spacious for both tent and cars, and staff were friendly. We were placed really close to the facilities (as per our request). The place is so serene, gives you a calm and tranquil feel 😊 would love to return in the summertime as it was too cold to swim at the lake. Also, I think 3 days wasn’t long enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Such a beautiful spot”
Really enjoyed our stay – we stayed in the glamping tent (myself, my husband and our 2 children). The tent was really warm through the night – beds were really comfortable. The park is in such a beautiful spot being right across the road from the lake. The staff were really friendly and helpful right through our stay. I’d definitely recommend this holiday park!

“Heaps of walks and activities”
We had a great stay from the moment we checked in. Clear directions to our site and to where all of the facilities were located. We chose the grass site closest to the boom gates for privacy. Extremely clean bathrooms and the hot tub was great after a day of hiking. Heaps of walks and activities around the lake. Worth a visit with a well stocked shop! We stayed in winter to avoid the peak season crowds!

“Outstandingly kept”
Finally came to stay at the Blue Lake TOP 10 Holiday Park. From the glorious scenery, the very welcoming staff (thank you ladies) to the outstandingly kept grounds and facilities. Our kayak around the lake was great, the boats and jet skis kept an eye out for us. The moreporks and birds (possibly kiwi calling) at night were lovely.

“Right on the water’s edge”
Amazing view, camp site is right on the water’s edge of Blue Lake, so perfect for a drink and swim whilst the sun is going down or coming up. Cafe is well stocked with pies, milk and other bits. Facilities are clean and the showers/toilets are heated, a real plus when it’s cold at night. BBQ area is kept well and is a nice touch.

A beautiful place to stay. A short drive to town. Picturesque setting with lots of options for accommodation. Excellent friendly service and all the facilities are kept beautifully clean and tidy. Highly recommended for anyone wanting accommodation in Rotorua.

“Something for everyone here”
Clean, and with activities galore this is a must do attraction. Sleep in and stroll the lake with a coffee and a donut. Get up early and go for a run. Take the family for a bike. Watch the kids swim. There is something for everyone here.

DANGEROUSLY GOOD, I could spend weeks here! The location is GREAT the staff are BASED. The facilities, oh my oh my they’re the best of the best. All functional, clean and well sign posted! Amazing stay thanks y’all.
