School Camps

Our school group of up to 45 parents and students have stayed at Blue Lake Top 10 Holiday Park for the last four years for our annual mountain biking trip to Rotorua. We choose to stay at the Blue Lake as it is very comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. The short drive out of Rotorua is ideal as we are close enough to get our provisions yet far enough away to feel like we are staying in the country. The management and Staff at Blue Lake are very helpful and friendly and always willing to answer questions and offer advice.

Cabins are located close to the excellent amenities so we would recommend this camp to any group.

As a school outdoor education programme we were looking for a base camp location in a central location to the activities we had planned. Blue Lake Top 10 exceeded our expectations they have a purpose built area at the back of camp that catered for our camp of 60. The marquee at the top meant we had a wet weather option for cooking and also any teaching and group briefings.

The staff were willing to help and discuss different options in the planning and during our stay and we’re adaptable to any changes that happened. I would recommend Blue Lake campsite to any school planning to run a camp there big or small.

Fantastic facilities, very accommodating staff, unreal place to have a Year 10 sports academy camp. Always well looked after. Safe and reliable place to stay.

I would highly recommend Blue Lake TOP 10 Holiday Park. We took a large group of 40 students for two nights. The facilities were clean and of a high quality. The staff where helpful and friendly. The grounds are all in great condition. The cabins we stayed in for the staff and parents were basic but did the exact job we needed them to do. Such a great location, with the lake on your door step. Personally I will also be coming back to camp with my family as it is also well setup for families. Thanks TOP 10 – We will be back next year.
